Very sad news. Condolences to her family.
It was with sadness that UWP heard of the passing of Hazel Walford Davies, academic and author who wrote many important volumes on drama and theatre in Wales as well as her superlative biography of O. M. Edwards, which won Book of the Year in the non-fiction category in 2021.

I feel dirty.

These came in 2 plain envelopes meaning I had to open them and thinking it could be something exciting.

Instead, I touched these!

I was going to say the toilet paper had arrived but, as the old joke about @thesun.co.uk goes, there's more s*** on the paper before you use it.

Yuck!

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

Having Johnson & Cummings in Downing Street when Covid struck was, just like Brexit, an entirely avoidable disaster caused largely by utterly appalling journalism. And now exactly the same clowns, arses & bigots with bylines are rolling out the red carpet for Farage.

Thrilled to be nominated for Scoop of the Year at the British Journalism Awards for the Afghan data leak story and superinjunction. Testament to the fantastic team @newsagents.bsky.social and @globalplayer.com.
Two governments took The News Agents to secret court for two years via a constitutionally unprecedented superinjunction to stop you from hearing this story.

The MoD is responsible for a data leak that put up to 100,000 Afghans at risk of death.

@carolecadwalla.bsky.social says it’s ‘peculiar’ that the case of Farage ally Nathan Gill admitting to making pro-Russia speeches for cash isn’t being followed more closely.

But what about business? Surely those hard-nosed capitalists will jump at the chance of ditching pesky environmental regulations and go pell-mell for North Sea oil?

Yeah, no. Quote from the CBI is just *hides behind sofa*
