Enough is enough. Democracy under threat, women killed, climate emergency and that's just the start. The powers to be have proven they can't deal with it. Time to take our power back!
Thank you Fiona

I think that almost every bloody day..
We always wondered why people did nothing about the genocide during WWII.

I for one - don't wonder anymore.

During WWII it wasn't on screens every single day.

Now it is - and we still do nothing.

In fact Govts who should step up instead supply the weapons used!! #auspol

I m so fucking angry! We have huge challenges yet the ones in power do fuck all. No, they actually make it worse! And what can we do? Our protests are ignored. Way too many people, willfully ignorant, just put up with it.

It was shit and shit light. Now, from an environment point, it is just shit and shitter
Murray Watt is a perfect model of the modern Labor politician. President of Young Labor. Chief of staff for a Premier. Boss of the Qld Left. Now he’s the Environment Minister with responsibility for a critical decision. He chose to destroy the environment. www.crikey.com.au/2025/05/29/m...
Watt waves through Woodside, and Labor’s light on the hill becomes a gas flare
The newly minted environment minister faced a stark choice: protect the environment, or approve a massive fossil fuel development that will destroy the environment. He chose destruction.

Ok, das Buch hat wieder Zündstoff ohne Ende.

Und die Verantwortlichen werden genannt.

Susanne Götze und Annika Joeres wieder mit einem Buch, dass ich wohl wieder jahrelang erwähnen muss. #Milliardenlobby

We have to determine the line way before we get near it!
In @nytopinion.nytimes.com

Three Yale professors who have written extensively on authoritarianism are leaving the U.S. “We’re like people on the Titanic saying our ship can’t sink,” Marci Shore said. “And what you know as a historian is that there is no such thing as a ship that can’t sink.”
Opinion | We Study Fascism at Yale. We’re Leaving the U.S.
The decision by these three Yale professors to move to Canada is both a warning and a call to action.

He supported several if these ideas for months if not longer..... you can bet they would come out again if they won government
A vote for the Liberals in Goldstein is a vote for Dutton - whose backflips keep piling up—WFH, public service cuts, dual-national deportations, Price’s "efficiency" plan. What’s next? Goldstein deserves better. Independence works #goldsteinvotes #auspol

Hitting hard.
The LNP don't like their own words repeated back to them, which is why they're infuriated by this ad.

Which is also why you should share it.

Both big parties are failing us. One more than the other but neither has the will to tackle and solve our problems. Time to vote them out.
Imagine having the opportunity to reduce household grocery bills, healthcare bills, or just even doing targeted assistance for folk doing it toughest…

…And instead deciding to find a way to subsidise fossil fuels.
Below is what Dutton's temporary fuel excise cut saves you per week for 13,000km/year across different transport types.

Compared to Labor’s tax cut ($5.15wk in 2026-27, $10.30 the next year), the Dutton winners are those with fuel guzzling vehicles.

Everyone else loses.

After 40 years of Liberal representation we still have roads full of potholes, not enough emergency preparedness and no ED in the whole of Casey. Time for change

This is unbelievable. Clearly the US is now a country without rule of law

Another brain "wave"....
She’s right.

People in electorates like the one @claire4casey.bsky.social’s running in have enough trouble finding childcare places already – not to mention disability friendly work, and facing long commutes.

The evidence shows one-size-fits-all solutions don’t fit most, and leave families behind.

The major parties have shown clearly that their self interests are front and center. Not the voters. Not the country.
Fight the buggers. Vote independent!!!
In the words of Ruth Bader Ginsburg - I dissent. Today is a dark day for Australia’s democracy.

At 10:53pm last night Labor and Liberal passed new electoral laws to pay themselves more public money, cooking the books for their own self-interest. Why should you care?

The parallels are frightening. Who would have thought....
In 1923 Adolf Hitler incited an insurrection against the German government.

He was tried, given a slap on the wrist, and became a convicted felon. Despite being treated charitably by the judge, Hitler claimed the trial was political persecution and successfully portrayed himself as a victim of /1

Because a community independent crossbenchet works actively on achieving outcomes. A backbencher is a seat warmer achieving outcomes for the party
There are 54 Coalition MPs in parliament.

There are 14 Crossbenchers.

How is it possible that those 14 crossbenchers can be so much more productive in every way than the entire 54-strong Opposition bench?
