Currently happening: this is a group of trans and queer people in Sudan who are being forcibly expelled from a refugee camp. There is no plan to re-house them, no community care, no nothing. Some have been relocated with donated money, some are living on borrowed time.

Cat #1 can't be trusted with a big bowl of food bc she will eat all of it immediately and beg for the next 24 hours

Cat #2 won't eat small amounts of cat food because she came from a home where they left out a huge pile

So Cat #1 eats all of her food

If you want to fight fascism… wear a mask (ideally a respirator like an N95!).

It will help keep you and your community healthy.

It makes protests and other events accessible for disabled & high risk people.

It tells the government you don’t believe that anyone is expendable.

Compassion fatigue is a real thing, but in the context of people who work hospice and healthcare and people who do support services for basically anything deeply depressing where you get to know about the worst aspects of death/disability.

It is not about people seeing homeless people lol.
