Bulletpoint in today's NYTimes Morning newsletter says ICE agents will accompany the US Winter Olympics delegation to Italy. Article says they'll "vet and mitigate risks from transnational criminal organizations." (I thought ICE works at/inside the US border, not on foreign soil.) Italy is pissed.

Great question for all those still blindly following the man in the Oval Office and those who control him. How do they explain why the gov't has no funds to curb rising healthcare costs or rural hospitals/clinics shutdowns, or fund the ACA, but heck yeah, let's start a war with Venezuela?
Isn't it odd that the United States has enough money to suddenly run Venezuela, but not enough to run our own country?

Isn't the daily recommendation to take 1 baby aspirin (81mg) daily to prevent heart attack/stroke? Just saw some reporting that included a bit saying DJT is taking more than 315mg of aspirin a day. I'm no mathematician, but that's roughly 4 times the 1 baby aspirin. Why take so much?

Yeah, well...this is positively beyond what he (or any president) should be allowed to do to The People's House without approval of the People, or at the very least, their representatives. Keep documenting so we can keep sharing.

I don't agree that the president should be able to make major changes to "The People's House" on his own (regardless of who pays for it). He's given an allowance to redecorate the personal residence portion of the house and that's fine. But this is too much. www.reuters.com/world/us/wat...

So, the WH is now "laing off" federal employees during the shutdown. Just wait until the next employment numbers report comes out and the administration doesn't like what it says. They'll need to be reminded that they are responsible for the job losses.

Did ABC choose to suspend Jimmy Kimmel indefinitely rather than cancelling his contract just so they could keep him from going to another platform led by management/ownership with a backbone that supports free speech under the 1st Amendment? Is keeping him from going somewhere else a favor?

I don't watch much network TV. But after a recent Bucs game on ABC, I saw a show with some promise: High Potential. Listen up ABC mgmt (& show sponsors): I won't be watching because you axed Jimmy Kimmel. Bye Disney, all of it. Thankfully, I never spent money on Hulu. They sold out.

NBC is reporting that Charlie Kirk has died after being shot in Utah and that a person of interest is in custody.
