I think Doug Ford benefits a lot from his Queen's Park opposition always tending to assume that his populist instincts are correct, and so they water down their criticism with too much nuance and hedging. He doesn't always know what voters want — sometimes it's just personal grievance.

Bradford's cynicism is unworthy of any leadership. What is not working are the enforcement mechanisms implemented to uphold order (no pun intended), not the policy itself. Sick Kids Hospital indicates the policy works.

The solution is to fix enforcement.

Bradford says council needs to have the "humility" to recognize that the current speed program isn't working. He wants to see "practical road design changes."

"These cameras are meant to protect pedestrians, but they can't do that if they are constantly lying on the ground."

Hey, sorry for my late response. I appreciate you taking the time to elaborate on your POV.

I'm generally inclined to oppose protectionism. But in my view, the CCP engage in too many bad faith practices (e.g. dumping), and practice slave labor, so I've ethical & geopolitical concerns about...

I think there's a distinction between a joke and a laugh line. This reads and sounds like a laugh line - ha! odd bedfellows in this room! - but it's not a joke.
