Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 developer Sandfall Interactive is finding itself in hot water over its use of AI generated assets in developing the game.

I ended up refunding Clair Obscure after much deliberation: I would have loved it when I finally got into the mood for a jrpg again, but the dev's lying about their use of AI soured it enough for me that I dont think I would enjoy it anymore.
I still have a massive backlog, so oh well, 1 less game.
