I live in an area that frequently has unhoused encampments and RVs, and in a sweep earlier this week, LAPD nearly ran over dogs belonging to a woman who’s had a tent in here for several years. Every sweep causes a lot of trauma for these people who are quietly living beside us.
ProPublica spoke to about 150 people who had lived in homeless encampments when cities cleared them out in “sweeps.”
We distributed notecards so people could tell us about the toll in their own words.

I stopped using lorem ispum years ago, but let me tell you, the Bee Movie script makes a great placeholder text for just about any block of text in a mockup.
