Apparently TERFs are flooding into this app? Ugh.
Here's why I care about trans rights.
1. I have friends and loved ones who are trans.
2. Trans strangers *also matter* because I'm not a dink.
3. Transphobic policies hurt cis people too.

Mayor Eric Adams reportedly told at least one member of the City Council he would restore cuts to their favorite programs if they agreed to vote against a police transparency bill
NYC councilmember says Adams tried to stop policing bill by horse-trading budget cuts. It failed.
Adams’ efforts came as he slashes funding for city services, including schools, libraries and parks, due to what his administration has called a fiscal crisis.
