James Talarico: The Bible doesn't mention abortion or gay marriage, but it goes on and on about forgiving debt, liberating the poor, and healing the sick. The closest thing we have to the kingdom of heaven is a multiracial, multicultural democracy where power is truly shared among all people

First weekend of the long break and I’m sick. Of course. Was sick through all of thanksgiving and now again. Boo.

It’s exactly what they want. An uneducated populace is easier to control and manipulate.
Multiple school districts in Central Texas have had to make tough decisions following declining enrollment, increased costs and years of no state funding increases.

Keane friends, I’m trying to order the five piece wooden UTIS ornament set, but I can’t add it to my cart. Any ideas? It just keeps asking for an email address with no “add to cart” option. Are they sold out?

What a weekend! I haven’t been able to do regular housecleaning since August, and with thanksgiving just around d the corner, I’ve done so much laundry and vacuuming this weekend. I went ahead and made meals through Thursday, but I still need to bleach my bathroom, mop floors, mow the yard, & more.

Took my mom to select new frames and order her new glasses today. I love that we have a rep at our local LensCrafters who always takes care of us. He’s sold us so many glasses over the years, and he’s just so kind and genuine. He was expecting us and directed Mom to her usual corner of the store

All of Keane’s posts these past three days have been about the SLC video. It isn’t the anniversary of the album nor the single, so something else must be afoot. Could they…(WILD THOUGHT ALERT) be BUYING the SLC?!? 🤔😳🤯

I doubt this, but I’m tired and my brain is wandering in every direction.

It’s been a weird weekend, definitely far from relaxing. And to top it off, my kid spilled a whole cup of coffee in my bed when she was watching TV yesterday and didn’t tell me. I just went to turn down the bed and saw the stain. So, I have extra laundry to do at 8:00 on Sunday night.

Thank you to my colleagues for having my back and not furthering lies on the House floor.

Appreciate them safeguarding first amendment protections and the usage of the censure.

Finally some sanity in the House.

It’s been a year since Hopes & Fears 20, and I miss these gentlemen so much. Their music heals my soul when the world is dark and scary. They bring beauty and joy to so many of us, and to hear them and see them live in their element is one of the best things ever. @keaneofficial.bsky.social
