I just really appreciate public libraries. For many reasons, but in particular, because I love books *and* I'm a picky reader - which means I DNF books all the time.
Using the library means I don't have to waste $25+ on books that end up annoying me.

Hi, by telling your kid that what they’re reading isn’t a real book and forcing them to read something they have zero interest in, you’re going to make them not want to read and you look like a hypocritical dick for doing so.

started my small (and responsible) stockpile this weekend. freezing a few extra eggs. gathering emergency supplies and just … trying to keep myself grounded. it’s helping somehow? i don’t know but it makes me feel better than sitting around i guess 😭
I'm getting weary watching our democracy crumble in real time. I'd take a vacation, but I'm feeling the need to stock up instead. Anybody else feeling this way?
