My New Year's resolution, arbitrary as it is, is to be online less. I'm having trouble concentrating, chasing little dopamine hits instead of committing to long term activities like writing and reading. I'm addicted to the distractions, and it has to stop. I'm too old for this constant outrage. (1)

Something ive noticed as ive been teaching myself how to draw is that my internal dialogue has gone from "wow I can't draw" to "I can draw that. It won't be good but I can draw it" and Im really proud of myself for it.

De-googling is exhausting because it feels like the world runs on Chrome and finding reasonable alternatives that work well with web apps I use is frustrating.

Day 5 of a 3D model a day keeps the bad thoughts away - we have... some barrels!
I'm really digging the low poly style - especially with how quickly it is to make these assets. I am working on something a little more in-depth though that is taking a few days.
