Thanks for the follows! At the Bad Place I had so little engagement that I had flashbacks to junior high dances. I still don't really get how this all works. I joined early pandemic to read science and rarely posted. My passion is reproductive health, especially the experience of women in birth.

My outpatient hysterectomy turned into an 8-hour ordeal and 5-day hospital stay due to complications including a bowel tear. I’m grateful for the capable team I had who saved my life, and that I wasn’t saddled with paying for hours of unanticipated “extra” anesthesia by an evil insurance company.
