We took the dogs for a walk and saw an bunny. I didn't think they liked being out so late in the day (was 1pmish) but it was pretty cloudy so maybe that's close enough to twilight? Dogs, hilariously, were maybe 3 or 4 meters from this guy (on leads) and totally oblivious.

Starting off the new year making my first batch of bread in the new house. I use the basic recipe from the Tassajara Bread Book. A book for hippies from a zenith retreat in California in the 70s, also a completely infallible basic recipe for tin loaves.

Just done some baking for a NYE BBQ we may or may not decide to go to depending on the weather, and discovered that the dogs have finally decided the new house is home and they can actually chill instead of hooning around like maniacs.
