i have met a number of pigs, including pigs i later went on to eat (we have small farmers in our family) and quite frankly, getting to know pigs has made me feel even less bad about eating them

they would 100% eat us if given the chance

I hear and see your concerns. Over the weekend, a couple users hosted on Blacksky's PDS were banned from the Bluesky app and thus the Bluesky API servers. This was a weakness of our system I've been aware of and hoped we had more time to address before any kind of public incident. 1/11

Most people don’t have the time to ask tons of questions! I only do it because it’s my literal job and I’m trained to be skeptical and dig deeper when I hear a declarative statement.

The average person is gonna trust what everyone is saying and we have to remember outrage spreads faster then facts

I really appreciated that they showed how chaotic a command center can be- and how sometimes no matter what you do as a responder it all goes sideways.

This is why I included D20s when we are doing training exercises for our clients .

When the responsible party (P&E) was trying to talk to the unified commander and corporate speak their way out of things…to when the P&E rep was making excuses?

I’ve seen that at every response.

Remember P&E pled guilty and paid over a billion in damages for the 2018 Camp Fire.

When you are an officer in the CG, you are taught that if you are the senior officer in the room no fun is had until you leave…(also it’s literally in the rules no one can leave an event until the senior most officer does)

So on UW campus- a guy came into a class yelling slurs and doing the Nazi salute… the students chase him out and then chase him down, the professor leading the charge.
