This is spot on. BTW even when we lost with Ange, the press conferences were straightforward and honest and reflected exactly what we saw with our eyes. Frank keeps pissing on our legs and telling us it’s raining. And then he builds a fucking windmill.
Not only is it boring, but it doesn’t work. The pragmatism has not addressed the defensive issues. It’s not doing what it says on the tin, and even worse, has come at the expense of the front half. So it’s not only worthless, it’s demonstrably worse.

Why have Solanke on the bench if you are gonna play Scarlett over him? Theatrics from Frank

Hate the result, unlucky as well, but if this is what gets us to move on from Frank, so be it.

Bournemouth's first win since October 26th. Brentford just beat Sunderland 3-0. Admit the mistake and move on, Spurs. It's over.

Need Frank out so the semenyo goal is helpful

I said this 2 months ago. Anyone could have seen it coming. Kudus now out for a while.
I’m simultaneously so excited about Kudus’ incredible form and have ptsd from last season where we played our incredible mid 20s winger into the ground after which he has been out for like 9 months… anyone else? @profspur.bsky.social

This was the fire Thomas Frank moment for me.

Playing defensively at home against Sunderland after taking a 1 goal lead. Club has plenty of front office and personnel problems beyond the manager, but this is entirely about the manager having a loser mentality. Good luck in your future endeavors.

Again, we gave up 2 shots, none on target, for 0.07 xGA in the first half and Frank rolls out his shit for the second half.

Just incredibly cowardly tactics from Frank once again.

We look so much better without Frank‘s preferred lineup

We look so much better! Don’t care about result.

I like that Frank is at least playing some of the youth today. I’d start Bergvall over Bentancur and literally anyone over Ben Davies (love Ben but it’s over).

Hate watching my own team again. Feel so bad for the players minus JP who I don’t consider ours.

We know that it is possible with basically this squad to be able to play offensively coherent football. Ange just did it (arguably with worse talent).

Convinced that Frank actually hates his job at Spurs and is just collecting a hefty paycheck while hoping he doesn’t get us relegated.

To be fair, sacking a manager because winning a trophy and finishing 17th is “unacceptable”, then proceeding to finish 17th with no trophy, would be the funniest thing this football club has ever done.

I think the players are as frustrated as the fans, leading to head loss and stupid decisions. Unfortunately that is down to the manager. Nothing is working and he doesn’t seem to have the ability to fix it. I think we really do need to pull the plug, there are no signs of improvement at all

This is the conventional wisdom, but it’s based on the idea that a) only good managers are the World Cup ones and b) Frank staying has no meaningful cost.

I’m worried about the harm he is doing to player development and I don’t want us to buy players for him in January.

Get Hoeness!

Rebuilds are painful. Charisma buys the patience needed to survive them. At Tottenham, we’re fixing a culture, not just tactics. Ange had done much of that hard work. Frank has reversed it. A charismatic leader absorbs pressure, protects players, and sells a vision that keeps fans united.

The proposed sale of Brennan is fine but makes one wonder why the pragmatic Frank couldn’t figure out how to use him. The longer Frank stays and fails, the more Ange looks like the true “adaptable“ manager, one who made it work with imperfect talent. Miss him.
