This is a good statement! Clear, direct, to the point, not quibbling on “yes Maduro is bad but…”

Bad Dem messaging 101: “Maduro is a bad guy BUT rule of law” makes us box-checkers, not leaders. Go harder at Trump and his mad man presidency.

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Christianity absolutely requires you to welcome immigrants.

No exceptions.

No “if they follow the law.”

No “if they contribute economically.”

No exceptions. Welcome them. Treat them as a citizen. Love them.

How to tell who wrote that Trump post 101:
If it sounds authoritarian, it's Stephen Miller. If it's insulting and condescending, Stephen Cheung. If it sounds like the ravings of a lunatic, it's Trump.

This. When you’re crafting your “thoughts and prayers” post, Congressmen, do it like this.
I’m outraged and heartbroken by the shooting at Brown. I’m praying for all those impacted.

It’s long past time to act to save lives. No one should fear going to school, the grocery store, or the movie theater. Congressional inaction to prevent gun violence is unconscionable.

Dear Politicians,
PLEASE do not use "thoughts and prayers" when commenting on the latest gun slaughter . It has lost its meaning and is code for we are powerless to help. We are sick to death of you not finding a way to ban assault weapons and strengthen gun laws.

So if i understand correctly, we got Trump the first time because of Anthony Weiner’s kinks, and the second time because of Olivia Nuzzi’s?

Hi Dems! Fine to acknowledge that the NG deaths were a tragedy (true!), but don’t forget to say why it happened (Trump) and to forecast what MAGA will do now (double down).

I mean, look, I'm not a reporter, so who am I to talk?

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me

YES. Epstein has become a kitchen table issue AND is highly damaging to Trump. Ridiculous to ignore it.
made a similar point on the opinions podcast this week in response to the idea that epstein is a dead end. not only are actual voters interested in this but it divides the gop and puts pressure on the president. it would be political malpractice to treat it as a sideshow
The usual suspects are telling Dems that Epstein won’t win elections, get back to “affordability” and I think my head might explode. www.offmessage.net/p/force-a-re...

Pretty easy to understand: If you’re on the side of doing this, you’re the bad guy.
