Yeah I think basically everyone uses Turnitin now, although tbh how well it works is questionable, like my law essays used to get a 40%-50% hit rate sometimes & it was just that it apparently didn’t understand citations, & also that there are some cases & quotes that everyone uses as precedent

One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

(By “wokeism” I should say the two subjects I’m looking at are called Intro to Human Rights & Social Justice & Dialogue across Cultures and Religions, both of which sound FASCINATING but do use the words “praxis” & “postcolonial” in the descriptions so…you know, it’s almost on the nose for me)

WHOOPS did end up looking at a Grad Dip in archives/records thru Open Universities & have already chosen electives bc they can be divided into “wokeism for cultural institutions” & “project management” & if I wanted to study project management my dad is right there & doesn’t charge for his lectures

(Mostly I was looking at library technician/archives/records management, which are things I’ve already done the tasks of professionally but don’t have a qualification in, so it’s proving hard to get a job that actually has that title, & guess what the govt isn’t interested in…business and libraries)

So unfortunately even though I swore I’d finished studying after doing an extremely intellectually laborious masters I am currently looking at TAFE courses again, because I guess I yet again have to retrain, but of COURSE none of the ones that I could actually do or that would be useful are free

I successfully used the grill function on the Instant Pot, but then I also have possibly injured what I know from previous problems with it is called the “anatomical snuffbox”, aka the bone just under your thumb in your wrist, by clonking it SO hard on a can in the fridge, so swings & roundabouts

I love to have a body, my right knee has decided whenever I stand up it’s no longer interested in being part of the team & feels like someone’s stabbing it, then just sort of…gives up, which is cool because technically that’s my “good” knee, aka the one without surgical pins

In Australia (or NSW at least) once you get over a certain age (I think it’s either 75 or 80?) you have a have a doctor certify that you’re still able to drive once a year, like eye test, cognitive test, etc, & if you don’t pass it they take your license, which seems uhh…good? to me??
