I can't wait to see what the next 10 months are going to be like for Colbert. Now he has nothing to lose. It's a shame he lost his show, but this is going to be interesting. CBS, Paramount, and Dementia Don are all now fair game. Colbert ratings will go thru the roof. I ordered a case of popcorn.

The Dizzy Goat 12 hr race. On Summer Solstice Day. 7 am to 7 pm.

Hot & humid & windy af 🥵; Feelz temp of 104F (40C).

I’m smiling because I’m done with 14 loops at 3.14ish miles/loop. And a total of 6804ft up (& down) vert.

50k LSD trail run today.

It was a long day up & down the “gently rolling hills” of western Iowa.

Deets for those who want to know.

And a new trail! That was an exciting run down it! Until I came back up it 7.5 hrs later 🥵.

12 at Hitchcock with 2441 ft of vert. The books wanted 25 but on the downside of day 3 from a head cold & funky OTC meds, I had to negotiate hard with my body.

What?!?! The EPA has drafted a plan to eliminate all pollution controls from coal and gas-fired power plants. The agency claims these plants “do not contribute significantly” to dangerous pollution or climate change, arguing their emissions are a small and declining share of global totals.

Thought I was alone on the trail when I whacked my head on a branch and, like a scene from a David Lynch film, a woman handed me a grilled prawn on a skewer. A Thai couple were having an impromptu bbq on the trail & wouldn’t let me leave until I sampled everything. #Toronto #DonValley #TrailRun #Run
