I find a spirit created through the corruption of memory usually provides the best haunts. As stated earlier, a shade of another reality leaking through to ours, lost and damned to claw in desperation to return to life. Soon, their madness becomes malevolent.

I do like a secluded village, where dark secrets are held and things aren’t as lovely as they seem. Then again, any location where a group find themselves isolated from the outside world appeals. Anything from a ship in the ocean to a labyrinth underground…
