*QUEER AUTHORS OF BLUESKY!*

Are you looking for an affordable, experienced editor? I'd LOVE to work with you! 📑 Here's my services sheet as well as an FAQ detailing what you can expect from me! 🧙

Any help with visibility is immensely appreciated. 💝

#editing #bookssky #queerwriters
A table detailing all of my editing services. Basic Edits, which include Voice & Tone Consistency, Proofreading, and Line Editing is priced at 30 Euros per 1000 words. Advanced Edits, which includes Basic stuff in addition to Structural Editing and Review & Critique is priced at 40 Euros per 1000 words. Finally, Complex Edits, which includes the previous two sections alongside Section Rewriting and Developmental Editing, is priced at 50 Euros per 1000 words. First page of my FAQ. The text goes as follows:

What content can you edit?

Anything, as long as I’m sufficiently compensated! Both fantasy and sci-fi, but I specialise much more in the former. Most of my experience comes from short stories, but I can also edit books and scripts!

Where can you be contacted?

On BlueSky, Discord, and Mastodon! (Under Gree_) I can also be contacted through DM’s on LinkedIN and Fiverr.

What aren’t you willing to edit?

Anything discriminatory, as well as content including rape and torture. Content augmented by any generative AI is an immediate no from me as well. Second page of my FAQ. The text reads as follows:

What will you require of me?

I will require a detailed brief! Themes, genres, content warnings, and what kind of editing you’re looking from me.

How can I pay you?

Through bank account and PayPal! Details will be discussed privately. I will require upfront payments, as well as editor credits, and recommendations if you use websites such as LinkedIN and Fiverr. I’ll be demanding no royalties if your work is going to be commercial.

Hey, my flash fiction is still here in Dark Descent magazine Volume 14.
It is called A Good Day for Violence. I am pretty proud of it.

Go to their website Dark Holme Publishing to have a look.
Cover of Dark Descent magazine Volume 14. There is a picture of a young woman in black with black hair and wearing a black necklace. The background is red.

Greetings #HorrorWritersChat, it is I, the one who haunts your pickle jars in the dead of night! The SpooOOOooky Pickle.

Despite having no hands, I've managed to write many-a poems and a jar-full of stories. Many more to come.

I hail from a land of plenty and strife, where the chill settles in.

Be welcomed to the ethereal music hall! A stringed aperitif is in order… do tell the Symposium what do you write, from where… and what IS, indeed, your wraithful visage for tonight?
#HorrorWritersChat
Art by Jelle Husson, featuring a haunted monastery of many sharp-tipped towers scraping at the midnight sky. The largest is in the centre of the structure’s roof, whose walls are painted white. The monastery is located above a hilly terrain of dark stone and dark green moss. A stony, twisting road leads to the monastery.

Question One

Come in, come in! The Phantasmal Symposium has just begun! Settle in the ruined music hall, and tell us – what do you write, from where, and in what ghostly visage have you arrived at our askewed doorstep?

#HorrorWritersChat the concept of a stringed apertif scares me. It's promising though. I'm Scribbler Johnny, I write odd romancey things about monsters and supervillains, I'm from Mordor and I look like a Weird Uncle.

Mundane places are great. Helps unease people - Maybe they are shopping and encounter a spirit, or at the park and see a wraith. Nowhere is safe, as death has touched every corner

Now, let us begin! Let the flutes bleat and the trumps blare, snatching all the souls of the living away! What are your favourite haunts? Mausoleums? Lavish estates? What secrets do their wraiths protect within?

Well, #HorrorWritersChat, aside from all the ghosts in my bones, I find many beautiful places just as haunting - and entrancing.

I've seen ghosts in old barns, abandoned houses that beckon me to explore their crumbling insides. My favorite haunts, however, are libraries and my own abode.

The Cat whispers, leaving you marred, as The Jester plays for seemingly years.
You forfeit your soul long ago, you see,
For when you passed the threshold
Horrors that yearn to forever be
Took grasp, for they are bold.

The moment you entered the graveyard,
The scrape of ancient stone shadowed your ears,
Quick did rise your fears
As the screams of the undead
Fill you with dread

Run, run, jump, and run!

Will you outpace
These hungry fiends
Or will you find a new place
As one of the living dead

The moment you enter the graveyard
The scrape of ancient stone shadows your ears
Odd, you think, to hear such noise in the dead of night that most fears
A quick peek around a tombstone makes the whole thing clear
You’re not the only one with a shovel here.

The founder of this chat and my co-host is in hospital, so he can't be here tonight, and huge thanks to Gree for stepping in at short notice.
But he writes such lovely ghost stories. Some of them are short, and cheap. If you could snag his books, it would help no end.

Concluding? Oh please! The Phantasmal Symposium’s work is eternal, as is the thirst for alive souls! We are simply twirling away elsewhere…

Now is your time to join us! What do you write? In what crypts can we peruse it? What more do you have to share?
