I've never been big into flight games, but I was hooked by AC7 from start to finish.
Manages to be accessible, while still offering some of the most engaging dogfights I've seen in gaming, plus a great story with plenty of memorable moments and characters.

I really should go back and watch some of the anime again. I can't remember if I got into the games or show first, but I only watched up to around halfway through the second game iirc.

Think that last post kind of breezed past the part where you play football against DINOSAURS.
You go back in time, recruit a caveman (who is actually a lost time traveller raised by dinosaurs), and he uses his fighting spirit, essentially a JJBA Stand, to help you score against a T-Rex.
