I hate Instagram so much. If I absent-mindedly start scrolling, I will eventually randomly see some graphic video of someone having the worst day of their life. I just saw an old man try to wrestle a grown-ass alligator and lose! Won't someone please rid me of this nightmarish compulsion!

Someone came up to me tonight and said my jeans made my butt look great, and "I know we're not supposed to compliment each others appearance but I just wanted to say that" and like, can we just exile all the sex pests already so we can compliment each other again?? it was a nice thing to say!!

Do what calls to you, and seek out the people who like that sort of thing.
Honestly I never really realized how much stuff you can get away with in the real world. Stepping out of your comfort zone is often portrayed as very violent and dangerous. But it really isn't, most of the time its just a wonderful experience.

Honestly I never really realized how much stuff you can get away with in the real world. Stepping out of your comfort zone is often portrayed as very violent and dangerous. But it really isn't, most of the time its just a wonderful experience.

The scariest thing about this story to me is not the body horror at all. It's people who make powerful tools without even once considering how they will be abused.
@rob-sheridan.com who was graphic artist for NIN and got the word "Cronenberg" banned from MidJourney talks about how after he made this series with it, he talked with the CEO of MidJourney and it never even occurred to them that someone would even -want- to do something like this.
