Make no mistake:

Alligator Alcatraz IS a concentration camp, and they absolutely ARE planning genocide and ‘ethnic cleansing.’

As a white person, i don’t know what I can do to help, but if all I have is my voice, I will make sure it’s heard.

The margins of menopause, once peripheral spaces of silence and invisibility, are being reclaimed and reimagined as intentional, intergenerational menopause maroon communities and a direct pathway to the Menopausal Multiverse.

"Our goal is to ensure that nobody’s menopause experience is overlooked or left behind—and that requires us to break from the mainstream ‘landscape’ and forge an empowering community of our own," writes @omisadeburneyscott.bsky.social:

It's time we reimagine menopause as an expansive, intersectional journey through radical divestment and collective empowerment for all marginalized voices.Ultimately, our goal is to ensure that nobody...

I said it then and I say it now with more evidence: electoral politics was a wrap when regular people started making social media announcements of their “endorsement”, as if everybody was now a celebrity CEO.

If you think that can't happen to you, then you've failed to recognize the danger and magnitude of this moment.

Who in the United States is safe?

None of us are safe unless all of us are safe. Because none of us are free unless all of us are free.

Our divestment is a call to reimagine the menopause landscape and open the space to hold bolder, broader narratives, cultures, and realities where all menopausal experiences are seen, centered, valued, honored, and protected.

The Menopausal Multiverse is here.
Why We Must Divest
The word divestment traces its roots to the Latin word vestire, “to clothe,” with the prefix di- or dis- signifying “removal.” In essence, to divest is to strip away what no longer serves us—to releas...

I've said for years that anti-Blackness, racism and white supremacy should be considered as misinformation / disinformation.

To study the history of race and journalism is to see that White supremacy was an effective disinformation campaign.

And through that, we got Jim Crow, a fascist system.
Trump rode to political prominence on birtherism and spent the last month of his campaign claiming that Haitians were eating cats.

The rise of authoritarianism in America *must* be understood as a misinformation crisis.
There's also seemingly no acknowledgement of a massive right-wing propaganda machine stirring this sentiment up. Where it does exist it's largely a manufactured, tribal outrage, it's not actually regular people getting so offended they go fash over this stuff. That's important.

Ah, the 1930s Germany frame.

But in the post-reconstruction era, America had Jim Crow, the resegregation of the federal workforce, and deadly pogroms against black people in the South.

We’ve been here before. It’s just it didn’t happen to white people.

Where do yall think Germany learned from?
Interesting question: if you were living in Germany in the ‘30s in which year would you call it and emigrate?
