All of the companies that make the software I use are increasing their prices, to account for an "investment" in AI.

I wouldn't say its a big deal but I do wonder if this modern epoch is the least I've been interested in games since... I wanna say the PS1 era.
But back then I had fighting games to shore up my interest even as everyone else was stumbling with early 3D nonsense. That's not a thing anymore.

whenever @ignis.tokuriders.com and i argue about strategy in game it boils down to her going "see if you have this 5% buff and this 10% buff and this 12% buff then you have a 27% buff" and i'm like "HEY LOOK AT THIS OTHER THING WITH THE 70% BUFF"

The wealthy gutting Medicaid and Social Security (which represent a vast majority of funding for disability services) to justify further tax breaks to themselves is a far greater existential threat to all of us than a hypothetical fraction of people potentially defrauding those systems to scrape by.

That new RLM video made me glad to be a comics guy because there's no shortage of great original comics always being made
