100% agree with this! If this CR comes to fruition, all the gains Dems saw on Tuesday will be erased. Next November will mark the end of our democracy. And, the sacrifices of this record breaking shutdown will have been for nothing.
I got back to my office after the vote last night and recorded this. There's no way to sugarcoat what happened. And my fear is that Trump gets stronger, not weaker, because of this acquiescence. I'm angry - like you. But I choose to keep fighting.

What are you all are doing for the trans federal employees that were forced out by the federal bathroom ban @markwarner.bsky.social & @kaine.senate.gov ? They were forced into the DRP. And due to the animus being promoted so aggressively combined with this economy are unable to find employment.

This capitulation to Trump is nothing short of a betrayal to the Americans who will lose their healthcare as prices skyrocket. Since we're getting nothing else out of this travesty, we sure as shit better get a new minority leader.
As this vote moves to the House, I stand with Democratic leadership as they refuse to rubber stamp the full-scale Republican assault on Americans’ health care and I am proud of the majority of Senate Democrats who opposed this vote.

26 Senate Democrats Help Pass Military NDAA Containing Trans Sports, Surgery Ban, No Protection For US Troop Deployments
