It's clear that when the US wants a ceasefire deal, one miraculously occurs. Makes the "working tirelessly for a ceasefire" stuff from last year even more disgusting.

Like for real. The plot of Spirited Away is about a kidnapped child forced into a life of indentured servitude in realm of gods after her mother and father are magically forced into becoming pigs by a witch. Meanwhile, Princess Mononoke exists.

Whenever someone uses Ghibli or Miyazaki as a synonym for "quaint, charming, unthreatening" I'm always like "bro did we watch the same movies?"

Can we stop calling Trump "anti constitutional" like it means anything?
The Constitution was written to codify the ability to send the military in to crush popular (usually minority) uprisings.

Sound familiar?

The Founders would've loved Trump.

“Tel Aviv” is marketed as a gay friendly city but in reality, it’s all just pinkwashing, making people think it’s safe for queer people to become settlers there.

Dear LinkedIn Community

Thrilled to announce and humbled to point out that there is no such thing as “responsible AI.” AI is not a thing with agency for being responsible but also every thing it is built on is an act of irresponsibility.

I know that Gazans are celebrating, but I don't trust this at all. This is a deal with the devil if I've ever seen one.

I fully expect Hamas to comply and release the hostages, and for Israel to resume the genocide.
Gaza peace deal reached, hostages to be freed
The announcement comes two years after Oct. 7, with 67,000 Palestinians killed.

My hot take is that if does not actually matter to Palestine, or to any Indigenous population, what DNA tests show. I'm obviously not an Indigenous person but if my DNA showed I was 96% donkey and 4% tardigrade, it still wouldn't be okay to kill me and take my house.

Ceasefire will not redeem a thing for Israel.

Doom hangs heavy over the promised land, the chosen people. Blood and fire, as Niney the Observer sang in 1971: “let it burn burn burn.”

The attack on Mark is another stunt by right-wing grifters to victimize a random person in an effort to use MAGA fear mongering to justify their existence. It should go without saying we should do anything possible to support his family.

I’ve received multiple death threats + doxing (including my home address) directly following harassment from Turning Point USA, Jack Posobiec, Andy NGO, + Fox News which called me an antifa ‘financier.’

I have been forced to move my classes online.

“Someone” cancelled my family’s flight out of the country at the last second.

We got our boarding passes. We checked our bags. Went through security. Then at our gate our reservation ‘disappeared.’

1. In a devastating new Pew Research Survey, only 3 in 10 transgender adults report being accepted by their parents.

And only 1 in 10 say they are accepted by their extended family.

This is the lowest number ever found in surveys asking similar questions.
