Mustardseed's favorite toys are these cups. They like to unstack them and fling them around. When I put pellets in, they usually eat out from the top cup, then fling the empty one to eat the next layer. But not today. Today we disrespect our surroundings

Now I’m scrambling to get supplies I need to give them a proper home. They also need to be fixed and parasite tested am able to pay monthly costs,the initial costs are a lot for a person on disability. If anyone is willing to help, no matter how ‘small’ the amount, it would mean the world to us

They belong to my neighbors who kept them in a hutch filled with poop and forgot to feed/water them. They bought them as retail therapy, hoping a bunny would give them serotonin. The novelty wore off but the bun remained. My heart broke, asked if I could take them, and surprisingly they said yes

The buff-tip moth (Phalera bucephala) has mastered a very particular kind of camouflage.

When they close their wings up, they resemble a broken twig.

Native to large parts of Europe, there's regional pattern variation that reflects the local tree species. This one best resembles birch twigs?
