That time I knitted a whole sock only to have it make my foot look fat when I put it on (the ribbing stretched out and I felt like my foot looked like a sausage bursting out of its casing) so I unraveled it and started on a new sock a size larger. This is pre-frogging 😭

See, this is one of those things where you don’t realize everyone else doesn’t know about this until you move away. Apparently, Big Red isn’t so much a thing outside of Texas?!? Sort of like the Texas-only Dairy Queen menu. What I wouldn’t give for a steak finger basket 😩

How does my brain instantly turn to mush the minute I start working on the heels of my knitted socks? The amount of times I’ve had to start over each heel is crazy. It’s like I can’t learn/retain anything from the prior socks 😩

I took 1 sock class, made the world’s most “interesting” sock (as in, "your foot doesn’t appear to be anatomically correct" interesting) that nobody can wear yet have decided to be a sock knitter for no apparent reason other than to have another short-lived but super deep obsession.

Fast food restaurant rounded down when I said I was going to pay cash, even though I had the pennies to pay the full exact amount. I thought it was because they didn’t want to deal with as little change as possible. I hadn’t considered this ⬇️ angle.
