15 years ago, I argued that that the populist radical right was a "pathological normalcy" (radicalization of the mainstream), rather than a "normal pathology" (unrelated to the mainstream). Today, in some areas/positions (but not all ❗❗), the far right is the "normalcy" (i.e. mainstream).
While everybody talks about Australia... in Austria until 2011 a member of the Habsburg family was prohibited to run for the office of Federal President.
It was ammended after Ulrich Habsburg wanted to run as candidate for the Greens to the presidential elections.

Es triste pero estoy de acuerdo, el debate de la energía nuclear es más cultural que técnico.
Es que el marco es correcto.
Es la izquierda la que por desgracia ha decidido renegar de la energía nuclear sin ningún motivo de peso.
