Weary rural cynic preparing a bolthole just in case. До біса Трампа.
Tá Tír na nÓg ar chúl an tí,
Tír álainn trína chéile,
Lucht cheithre chos ag súil na slí,
Gan bróga orthu ná léine,
Gan Béarla acu ná Gaeilge.

Still supposedly a factor in FG politics in Monaghan (there was an attempt by local FGers in Cavan to revive them a decade or so ago).
Totally unrelatedly the AoH have been extremely marginal in Irish life since the 1920s (a bit longer in Northern Ireland).

This being the same Policy Exchange that last year wanted to scrap the part of the GFA that allows for unity by consent.

So on this basis by 2065, Scotland and Wales will have been independent for a generation, Irish unity will have been long established, & an impoverished, kleptocratic England will be beginning its second quarter century under the dictatorship of some bloke who is currently a mid ranking MI5 officer

Would still have said NI Protestants skewed more Brexity than their GB (or even English) equivalents - wouldn't have expected a North Down to have been a close run thing in GB or an East Belfast or Lagan Valley to have voted majority Leave.
Even then, a lot of constituencies had very similar results to those you'd get in a demographically equivalent seat in England.

Broadly speaking Protestants voted like the rest of the UK, whereas Catholics were very very strongly remain.
