Two weeks ago our cats went to the vet for their annual checkups. What has ensued ever since is Calcifer meowing sadly at the front door begging for us to release him back into the wild. …Even though the one night the door didn’t latch and he did escape, he just sat on the stoop terrified. 🙄

Does anyone else feel horrible amounts of sadness whenever an artist posts a tiny little comic of their OCs only for you to discover they don’t actually have a comic for them? Like how dare you make me fall in love with your OCs and not also give me all of the stories about them living in your head.

Apparently I wrote X-Files fanfiction as a kid and I had no idea until my mom dropped off a million relics of Paige off at my house… It wasn’t good fanfiction either, sadly.

My husband has clearly forgotten about how our youngest cat has zero distaste of water and is absolutely feral around plastic bags ever since I made the mistake of giving him a tiny piece of salmon jerky five months ago.

I really want the Venmo IDs of Trump voters so I can start sending them cash requests every time I’m forced to pay a ridiculous import duty fee on a purchase due to Trump’s tariffs. It’s the least they can do since they voted for him. 😒

I just had to admit to my husband that I have no idea how to play chess and that, yes, we watched the entirety of Queen’s Gambit and I just had no fucking clue what was going on and I didn’t care enough to ask. It’s truly a testament to how well they played up the drama to keep me interested in it.

It’s 2 AM and the fireworks hellscape hasn’t ended. I really wish they were fully outlawed for sale for everyone except professionals putting on shows at set times for crowds. You can fight me on this but I’ll just shove my PTSD ridden mall shooting survivor bullshit back in your face. 🫠

Today started off with so much promise! My bread maker arrived and while the lovely smells of the freshly baked loaf were wafting through the house we get that tweet from the Orange Tyrant. I’m just so exhausted by even the simple pleasures in life getting ruined by his atrocities.

I don’t think I’m going to get over Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for a long time. It gives me that same feeling of love and astonishment as games that I first fell in love with did.

I love the bookstore my mom used to work at for doing this.

I’m pretty sure at least part of the reason @maxnichols.bsky.social watches kdramas with me is because he likes joking about what is otherwise a romantic comedy suddenly having a serial killer plot in it. The problem? He’s actually spot on with his joke like 40% of the time…
