The thing is we've known that housing the homeless is cheaper than neglect, we've known that Ubi is effective at eliminating poverty, we've known that heavily subsidized housing and education leads people into the middle class, we've known all of these things in some cases for 70 years.

This is a very important and massively overlooked issue. Dark sky thinking could improve our lives immensely with only slight changes like selecting an acceptable type of lighting a community uses, including residential, commercial and industrial residents. Cut out light pollution.

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation
