now i wouldn't necessarily say that "video games should be frictionless and convenient and qol is an objective ideal that all developers should strive towards in all things" and "uncomfortable queer art shouldn't exist" are rhetorically related ideas but also i wouldn't say that they aren't

Humans crave meaningful work. Crushing our lives under things we "have to do" is a bad way to live obviously. But I believe meaningful work is one of our great needs in life & corporate tools have abused and reshaped that brilliant drive to an unrecognizable place by viewing it as a resource to tap.

A good sign that you are too much of a hipster for your own good is that in the country of origin of your favorite media, people look at you with a blank stare when you talk about titles you love :|
