jeez aight calm down. first off, the thing everyone thought was a red pikmin in the original was shown to be a block being pushed by a pikmin, but also. they never apologized for uploading the wrong version, and the original is currently still the only version on youtube

im tempted to say it was intentional tbh, given pikmin are said to be invisible to humans. one version shows us what they see and makes it a bit of a mystery as to whats actually happening, while the other shows us how the pikmin fit into place

in the snes version he just eats them outright. and i think thats still the case when youre playing as mario in the gba game, but yoshis behavior changes when playing as luigi, and im not too sure how they behave with him
