When you move to BlackSky here is what you need to do to continue using app:

Input blacksky.app when clicking the pencil icon AND clicking “Custom” to input BlackSky link in the hosting provider and then login using credentials you inputted when migrating over. That’s it!

(RNS) — Last month, the Rev. David Black stood in front of a Chicago-area U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility and spread his arms wide. Adorned in all black and wearing a clerical collar, the pastor looked up at a group of masked, heavily armed ICE agents on the roof and began to pray.

“I invited them to repentance,” Black, a minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), said in an interview. “I basically offered an altar call. I invited them to come and receive that salvation, and be part of the kingdom that is coming.”

But when Black began to lower his arms a few seconds later, the agents responded to his spiritual plea by firing pepper balls, or chemical agents that cause eye irritation and respiratory distress, video footage shows. One struck Black in the head, exploding into a puff of white pepper smoke and forcing him to his knees. Fellow demonstrators rushed to his aid, and as the pastor rubbed his face in pain, the agents continued to fire.

“We could hear them laughing,” Black said.

basically echoing the tldr, but takeaways are 1. this is good 2. this shoulda been possible all along but bluesky overpromised 3. Rudy speeding things up is thanks to him being an actually decent leader and also generous donations and 4. if you wanna interact with Link, convert to blacksky

TL; DR
In the next 5 business days you should be able to go to Link's page on blacksky.community and see his posts and he'll be able to post but people using the bsky mobile apps won't see it.
After that we'll get Blacksky-only posts up.
After that we can talk about purging bsky mod tools

this is cause the "see it" side of things is expensive and complicated, so blacksky is using bluesky's tech for it. but because this is a big issue, blacksky is kicking speeding up efforts, and in about 5 days if you use blacksky you will be able to see Link's posts, even tho bluesky banned him

I hear and see your concerns. Over the weekend, a couple users hosted on Blacksky's PDS were banned from the Bluesky app and thus the Bluesky API servers. This was a weakness of our system I've been aware of and hoped we had more time to address before any kind of public incident. 1/11
