Grumpy old git living in Doncaster UK.
Oh no! I won't be able to go to the USA because if they look at my social media, they will see that I consider #Trump to be an idiot and the biggest threat to world peace in a generation.

It's panto season in Doncaster. Oh yes it is. Fun, frollicks and a load of silliness will happen

I love the fact that Trump thinks Zalenshi should be thanking him for attempting to sell out Ukraine. #Trump is such an arse!

I've never considered myself to be a massive socialist, but massive corporations and the super rich must pay proportionately to the working classes. There should be no avoiding it.

Can there ever be any justification in #Musk earning a trillion dollar income? Greed is greed is greed. It must be taxed no matter where he goes. Threats to move must not be any concern

I might not live in the USA but I was so pleased to see #trump loose comprehensively at yesterday's elections. There is still hope for the mid-terms to wipe out his power. Never was a lame duck more needed #USA

Another day and so many UK politicians and media giving free publicity to the far right idiots. Trust me, ignore them and they will go away. #Greens, #Labour, #LibDems, #BBC.
November 4, 2025 at 3:25 PM
If the media just ignored #Reform in the same way they ignore the Lib Dems, the Greens and the monster raving looney party, they would simply go away. At the next election, unless there is a need for a tactical vote, I'll be voting #green.

Do we think #Trump is using the same playbook the Chinese used in Hong Kong. Plow on regardless until people stop fighting?

I was pleased to get a notification today that around 150 people had read my #lastminute.com review which set out the terrible service I received from them recently. Booking with Lastmintue.com is like playing Russian roulette. Anything goes wrong and you are on your own.

Happy #NoKings day America. So sad to see what Trump and the GOP is doing to the USA and rest of the world. Criminal!

We all want councils and govt to pay for healthcare, care homes, roads, schools, Uni's, parks, police, and more. But we want low tax. We want our cake and to eat it. This is not sustainable. I lean towards taxes on the mega rich because of their vast wealth. What do you think? #Greens #Uk-Politics
October 19, 2025 at 9:11 AM
I've never considered voting #Greens before. But with #Labour not doing so well and the #Conservatives trying to match #Reform, they are becoming a viable option. What do you think?

Labour’s plan for compulsory digital ID risks creating a more authoritarian state.

Under constant surveillance, we would have to pass through digital checkpoints just to live our daily lives — with even more barriers for minorities, migrants and the digitally excluded.

People shouldn’t be turned into criminals just because they can’t have a digital ID, or choose not to.

We will fight tooth and nail to oppose these plans for a mandatory Digital ID.

People of the UK. STOP #DigitalID. Search and sign the online petition. The last Labour govt tried to force this on us and here they go again. It must be stopped.

I'm on the fence about #DigitalID, but it is definitely the thin end of the wedge and I suspect we need to resist it as long as possible.

As Nigel Farage goes on TV to say children are better off with straight parents, we are reminded how stable relationships and kid have been coming from the rich and famous. This man is a hypocrite and a lier. At least that's my opinion. #reform

I watch people from our very privileged background get nasty about those fleeing with a dream to live free of poverty and violence. People should walk a mile in their shoes. Oh how their approach would change. #migration #stoptheboats

I'm stunned that self serving billionaire #Musk feels he can insite political violence in the UK. He needs to keep his fascist ideals to himself.
