The Cato Institute hardly is a lefty organization. The liberal think tank shows that despite the narrative of Trump and co, political murders are NOT a lefty phenomenon. Such rhetoric only inflames societal unrest in the US and would be welcome news to the adversaries of the US.

I think we're at the stage where researchers will simply not bother even applying. Success rates % will plunge into low single digits, why expend weeks writing proposals? It's the ECRs who will suffer most, leading to further mass exodus of talent from Ao/NZ. This government have no idea!!

Yes, indeed! The retailers can screw you on grid by ramping the daily standing charge, always putting their finger on the scales, irrespective of how much you export and how much they pay you for it. The house always wins!
