Time to fix the Met. Currently it has two bosses and does national policing as well as local work.

Without a focus there's no chance the Met will reform properly.

I've set out how to do this here:

It’s #SmallBusinessSaturday!
A day to celebrate the brilliant businesses that give our high streets character.
This Xmas, please shop local, it matters.
I’ve run two small businesses; it’s 24/7 and tough.
I’ll keep campaigning for them. If you’re one, I’m your MP too, please reach out for support

This delay is another example of the govt’s shambolic indecision

Sussex is being denied the chance to vote for Lib Dems’ positive vision for the future

We’ll keep working for a prosperous, tolerant and green Sussex, starting with the county council elections in May

See you in the Aye lobby?

What a shambles!

I am furious that Labour has postponed Sussex's mayoral elections until 2028 - wasting public money, council officers' time and throwing away detailed plans.

It's blatant incompetence, so this morning I challenged the Minister about it in Parliament.

Election after election across the country, it’s either the Liberal Democrats or Reform who are winning.

No wonder Labour & the Tories want to cancel as many elections as possible – but they can’t be allowed to get away with it.

This is our democracy, not their plaything.

Small & medium sized businesses in Cheltenham shouldn’t shoulder the burden of national economic failures anymore. Last week’s budget ignored Brexit’s impact & chose to penalise business owners even more. I shared stories of two Cheltenham business owners during my Budget Debate speech yesterday

What we saw last week was one of the most dishonest Budgets I have ever seen.

Instead of fixing our trade with Europe and growing our economy, Labour chose more stealth taxes that will only make the cost of living crisis worse.

Try going days without water. That’s what people in Tunbridge Wells have had to do.

Families, care homes and schools are in limbo while South East Water still can’t say when this will be fixed. Thank you Mike Martin for stepping up and holding those responsible to account.

It’s clear to anyone paying attention that Farage won’t investigate the Russian infiltration of Reform.

The Prime Minister must step up and launch a national investigation.
