Exactly this.
I get and support good moderation. That said, the downside is that this place is just an echo chamber. Both places are. That's not in anyone's long-term interest. There are limits, but we should probably make more room for hearing things we don't like. Yes, even dehumanizing things.

maybe I'm just a hater, but ever since the spadina streetcar was temporarily put out of its misery, I've been enjoying using the spadina bus that seems to always be at my stop within 30 seconds of me arriving there

Just because Trump has “paused” tariffs on Canada for 30 days, it doesn’t mean we should stop EMERGENCY-LEVEL work to:
- Remove provincial trade barriors.
- Significantly diversify our trade globally and mitigate the damage any U.S. Govt can do to us.
- Strengthen our ability to defend ourselves.
