It's the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement tomorrow. One thing that needs a huge correction comes from the late Pete Betts in his book The Climate Diplomat: There are no "architects" of Paris.

It was the work of years of negotiations among thousands of diplomats. That is also its strength.

Just back from the last show of Edwyn Collins's last tour, in Edinburgh, his birthplace. An incredibly moving show, packed with favourites and hits. And the beginning of the encore, where he played 'Low Expectations' and 'Home Again' was absolutely emotionally devastating.

Guess this is definitely happening... Come see my try to be funny about what we're doing when we call something a classic, and when we demand that people read them!

I’m honored to receive the Pulitzer Prize today. I dedicate this success to my family, friends, teachers, and students in Gaza.
I’m praying for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and justice.

Because hubris, you can come see me do two (half) shows drawing on my research on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as part of the series The Provocateurs (prev Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas). My provocative title: 'Don't read the classics'... Scene from writing/rehearsals in pic, links in thread below!

Good morning especially to anyone learning for the first time of the existence of an 18thC Anglo-Irish peer named Clotworthy Skeffington.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Carlitos can’t leave this ceremony but Rune should. No trophy is worth sitting through that ‘singing’.

It’s insane to think that the Trump administration was more welcoming this week to the Tate brothers than to the President of Ukraine.

Just as Zverev is about to speak at the trophy ceremony, a woman repeatedly shouts:

“Australia Believes Olya and Brenda! Australia Believes Olya and Brenda!”

Broke through the silence.

At Bounces overnight, I wrote about how many folks here at the #AusOpen —and many more at home—are left waiting to exhale as Alexander Zverev remains in contention.

I can’t be the only person who has only just found out, as a result of their beef, that The Rock and Vin Diesel are not the same man.

Hardest thing about being on The Traitors would be having to pretend to give a shit about people you’d met 5 mins ago.

Literally crying hearing how French women applaud Gisele Pelicot every day as she walks out of court. #r4today

Everywhere around the world women watch & applaud her bravery too. She stood up for all of us.

Because the shame has to switch sides.

Maybe because middle class women of a certain age are in a position to call out this shit without fear of losing a salary they need. And can do it on behalf of young women starting out in their careers who are just as sick of this shit but can’t say anything because they need to earn a living.

Poor old grandad
With the 79yr old Rod Stewart set to play at Glastonbury next year, is there an age at which rock stars should stop playing?

Jefferson Airplane's Grace Slick says rock stars should retire at 50, but 70% of Britons set no upper age limit on rock stars performing
