I don't know what to do but just keep repeating it so I don't go insane: the rise & eventual total domination of RW media is the single most significant political development of my lifetime and the entirely of the US political & media elite resolutely refuse to discuss or even acknowledge it.

Thanks for reposting. While it is great this video has gone viral (relative to most of our posts) it’s a shame that the full context of the event is lost. This was a protest in a very divided, diverse town of about 20k. ICE has been terrorizing the community for months, a constant presence.

I went through a week of watching the movie and rewatching all the James Earl Jones stage clips I could get my hands on.
The writing is so so so good that it feels like a GIFT to get to see the nuance that each actor brought to Troy (and Cory).

That scene had a lasting effect on me too. The indignity of those monsters.
I was heartened to see his friends go after those people but that he still had to even be subjected to it in the first place…enraging.
