Et tu, Cheerios?!
What do these companies have in common?

-Cigna
-Comcast
-General Mills
-Allstate
-Marriott
-Hilton
-Walmart
-Amazon
-Microsoft
-Meta

All promised after January 6, 2021 to stop funding lawmakers who tried to overturn the 2020 election.

And all have broken that promise.

RESIGN, CHUCK @schumer.senate.gov RESIGN
Trump could declare himself Emperor and Schumer and Jeffries would politely post on X that they’re “disappointed.”

Can anyone explain to me how this is legal? Tickets go on sale at 10, ya log in at 10, the tickets should be $50, but AXS only offers $150 plus $40 fees? How is this not ticket scalping?

in the grand scheme, it's not Chuck Schumer starving babies to death, but this sucks too. @schumer.senate.gov

zohran’s win is a clarifying event because it shows — like a UV light in a shitty motel room — how years and years of “appealing to the center-right” has morphed ostensible democrats into functional republicans
Kirsten Gillibrand on WNYC won’t endorse Mamdani. Said she doesn’t endorse NYC mayoral races (she endorsed Adams in 2021), and is waiting to see who runs on what line. What a fucking disgrace.

fascinating how miller made it a point to phrase it in terms that gave him plausible deniability to claim he was speaking about ideology and walsh is such a fragile little racist he couldn't even play the game
This would've been a daily stormer thread a decade ago. Neo-nazi conspiracy theories are mainstream now.

We hoped, but did not expect the win. We shouted with joy.
On Friday night, we walked the length of Manhattan, from Inwood Hill to Battery Park.

New Yorkers deserve a Mayor they can see, hear, even yell at. The city is in the streets.

The Minnesota shooter apparently used data broker websites to find the home addresses of the people he shot and murdered.

Congress has had years to do something about data brokers and they've sided with the tech lobby over and over again.

Their inaction is deadly.

AI is not quite there yet, but then, neither is humanity.
Israeli attacks so far today have killed at least 55 people across Gaza. Among the dead is Palestinian journalist Moataz Rajab, who is at least the 221st media worker killed by Israel in Gaza since October 2023.

OMGeez, he said the G word! Is God getting cancelled?!
If you want to defeat radical dishonesty and LIES, it’s going to take radical honesty and TRUTH.

And many of you can’t handle the truth.

Here, let me prove it to you with one word that has been banished from Congress and corporate media:

Genocide.

1. The "big beautiful bill" that Republicans advanced late last night is a massive transfer of wealth from the poorest Americans to the richest.

The bottom 20% of earners will see their income DECLINE BY 10%.

The top 0.1% will get a GIGANTIC WINDFALL.

So if you suddenly try to break into Congress to murder the VP you've supported for 4 years because he won't break the law and the police shoot you, your family gets 5 million dollars?

People spend a lot of time wondering why the left is worse at using independent media to control the national narrative.

A useful exercise is to ask why the left is also worse at selling snake oil and pyramid schemes, because I think the reasons are basically exactly the same.
