Unbelievable
WH sources say Venezuela's opposition leader committed the "ultimate sin": She accepted the Nobel Peace prize.

“If she had turned it down and said, ‘I can’t accept it because it’s Donald Trump’s,’ she’d be the president of Venezuela today,” one said.

No doubt when Greenland is invaded they will be banned from using the word invasion.

It all makes sense now...
A very long and important THREAD -

The real reason the US is invading Venezuela goes back to a deal Henry Kissinger made with Saudi Arabia in 1974.

And I'm going to explain why this is actually about the SURVIVAL of the US dollar itself.

Not drugs. Not terrorism. Not "democracy." 1/

The evidence is overwhelming that US action in Venezuela is not in the interests of the USA and its people, who have very different priorities. So who is really behind this operation, and why, and to what end?

Tax the super rich already!
"What a year for the ultra wealthy. The world’s 500 richest people added a record $2.2 trillion to their collective fortunes in 2025’s… booming markets, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. And about a quarter of this year’s gains went to just eight billionaires.” — Bloomberg Morning Brief

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

All that needs to be known about the UK is that the company that built bombs to drop on children continues to operate with no consequences.

While some people who sprayed paint on a plane to try stop Genocide are locked in prison without a trial.

That is UK 'justice'.

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

I'm deeply concerned about the wellbeing of prisoners who were involved in Palestine Action protests, and are currently on hunger strike.

Some have not eaten for six weeks. A number have been hospitalised. They are all being held on remand - without trial or conviction.

Labour are attacking Greens. Fine. I have yet to see any party that has entirely affordable aspirations.

But at least the Greens HAVE aspirations.

Labour have seemingly decided the status quo cannot be touched, even when it doesn't work for 90% of people, or the viability of life on the planet.

Now they’re proposing a 4 day work week and 6 hour work days

Today, Nigel Farage postures as a righteous defender of the same democracy he actively undermines.

Democracy should never be for sale. It's time for a cap on political donations.

In their desperation to prop up late stage capitalism the elites will tear down and burn pretty much everything.
The Thatcherite Consensus went kaboom in 2008 and everything since has been frantically breaking all the furniture to shore it up. That’s why everything has been visibly falling apart or obviously collapsing for a decade, and it’s the reason why the next phase will be astonishing worse than this.

🚨 NEW: The UK saw the largest increase in relative child income poverty of 37 high-income countries between 2013 and 2023, an increase of 34%, new research from UNICEF UK shows.

If the two-child limit stays in place, child poverty will continue to rise. Is this really a record we want?
