Very, very important thread. Dealing with Stephen Miller is an exceptionally distasteful endeavor, but we need to understand him in order to burn this thinking on the trash heap of history.
Stephen Miller is employing state terror in service of the open goal of shifting the ethnic mix of the country. In numerous ways he's doing this at the expense of public safety.

My guess is that Trump won’t sign off on any deal that involves compromise with Democrats (which of course is necessary). In his mind, he’d just as soon shut down the government forever. If it doesn’t hurt him personally, he doesn’t give a shit.

After so many years in pain, rest in peace, Bruce Loose. Flipper was my North Star in the early 80s. Their shows captivated me with their chaos, creativity, and Bruce’s seeming disdain for those of us who paid to see them. It was SF at its peak, and I couldn’t get enough.
