In light of the ICE agents being rebuffed at the door of a South Side elementary school... We honor the school staff for calmly following CPS protocol and protecting all kids & adults inside the building. And we again thank the 39 alders who voted to preserve the Welcoming City Ordinance intact!

as a person who spent a large chunk of my life working in democratic politics, a big part of the problem is that the only way to advance your career is to never question anything.

At this point I think the Democrats have a masochism/humiliation kink going on. So much bad political strategy! All the time! About matters small and great! They keep thinking if they play by the rules they will persevere whilst Republicans dgaf about rules and do what they want.
