Get my 80s holiday travel gear out again
This is one of the Pretoria Pit shafts in Atherton near Manchester. It was the site of an explosion that killed 344 men and boys as young as 14.
It’s always a bit sombre and spooky but when you come home and find a small cloud on your photo it does send a shiver down your spine.

Anyone building traps remember they go down your back. Shrugs are great for your coat hangers but the Overhead shrug activates and builds your lower traps.

Great win for England. Hope every expert who said they would never win with Ford at 10 are now going to come on and explain what went wrong. Oh and at the same time explain again why Borthwick is the wrong coach.

I took a week's leave for this and took a girl from the base with me. I had the shortest hair there. The weather was horrendous, fortunately I was near to my family home so we slept in a dry bed, well Katie did, my mother made me sleep on the settee. Heartbreaking.

Use calf compression sleeves. You want bar as near to your shins as possible. The farther away from your body the more stress in on your back. The bar needs to be right, not floating.

We were out skilled, out paced, out muscled and out classed.
I don't think it was as bad as the 1982 seismic class difference but it was bad. Worse still it was hard to see were improvement can come from.
