It's amazing how Canadian pundits know nothing about Doug Ford. "He wants to be Prime Minister!" He might become PM—out of spite or for shits and giggles—but the only thing he's ever truly wanted to be is mayor of Toronto.

50-ish yr old white guy biking on Danforth was yelling slurs and telling bike couriers to “go back where you came from.” Told him to stop, he yelled at me, then cycled back to me, my partner, and kid and yelled a stream of things I hope my kid doesn’t remember. East York, do we know this guy?

Anyone who says additional housing supply alone will improve affordability is choosing to ignore stories like this one. Why are they choosing to ignore these facts? Well, that is another story in itself.

THis is so sad to see but not unexpected given how poorly the NDP has treated her.

TTC fares have risen faster than the rate of inflation over the past 30 years.

That's why we're glad to hear Mayor Olivia Chow is planning a potential fare freeze in 2025.

But it's not a done deal - your voice is needed to make sure a fare freeze is funded in the City Budget!

Kinda wondering why the #Toronto Police are looking for more than a 50% increase to their ammunition budget this year. It's small in dollar amounts compared to salaries, but what do they need with that many more bullets?

This used to be my daily run. Seeing this photo is a sucker-punch.
I used to run through #OntarioPlace weekly. Now I rarely run the TO waterfront trail as I don't want to start my morning faced w corruption & the wholesale (but costly for us) disposal of Ontario to friends of @fordnation. Depressing.
