my advice for having a good bluesky experience:
- make enemies immediately
- start shit in public but act morally superior for it
- get mad when you see people acting weird and make it their problem
- barge into other people's replies to scold their friends for cussing
- post pictures of weapons

A common problem I’ve noticed is that creators who don’t habitually create will get lost in elaborate worldbuilding and deep and cerebral themes before they think about enjoying their own creation. Play comes first. Enjoyment is the sauce. Just make the thing

A reminder that the key to writing is getting the very best out of your brain, but in order to get the best out of it you have to take care of your mental health. Stress, concern, and depression will take a toll on your work. So always make sure to take care of YOU and you'll get your best work.

This is part of why I think it's pivotally important to go out of your way to enjoy art by marginalized creators. It's not just harder to break in; it's an upward battle to even *make* things when you're constantly under stress. There are SO many stories going untold bc of this so savor what exists.
