Never forget.

Full Circle.

I can't remember the Corocoro issue but was going through some spreads just before airing. . .

Hence why I was asking the question.

Coincidentally , the first chapter of Pokemon Special did predate the first episode's airdate just by a little.

Could this be considered the earliest visual example, at least shown publicly, of the pokeball doing this?

How many examples of this type of headset (that look like the below example) exist in animated form before Dougram?

Aka the type of headsets we see in Dougram, Layzner, Zillion and (of course the scouter) in Dragon Ball?

Yeah early 2010s, for sure if you ask me.

【DB Update】 It's Rumor Guide update time! Today I take a deep dive into the idea that "Brock left the show because the show was afraid Americans would see him as a racist stereotype."

@littlekuriboh.bsky.social Hey, a friend of mine has been wondering what the song Dartz is singing at this timestamp for years now. He swears it's CCR, but we haven't been able to find the lyrics: youtu.be/q1dtzDUgYtg?...

Hi, I spent 10+ years researching all sorts of PC RPGs: AAAs, indies, RPG Maker, non-English, etc. Together with 167 volunteers, I created/edited The CRPG Book: crpgbook.wordpress.com

You can download it for free, or buy a hardcover edition from Bitmap Books - ALL author's revenue goes to charity!❤️
The CRPG Book Project
The CRPG Book Project is a collaborative, non-profit effort to create an ebook on the history of Computer Role-Playing Games.

Hmm, I tend find that many are well rounded?

But with the Takeshi Shudo related works for example, the people who have been researching the Pokémon anime won’t find what Shudo says about the non Poke-anime in Anime Style to be interesting despite it being very important to anime history.

i think one of the biggest problems in fandom is that a lot of people just...don't get into other things
in this era where you have a wide array of old and new stuff at your hands to see, indie or otherwise, getting away from something you hate is much easier! searching is part of the fun!

13 years ago today, I saw "Macross The Musicalture" in Tokyo, and it remains one of my most favorite Macross memories (of many!), mostly because of its rarity. You won't meet many people who've seen it. It had an (as planned) 8-day run and has never been revived.

I love talking with friends about comics because you can obsess and have a great time pouring over little details

This page is from Lone Wolf and Cub.

it is a pretty normal ending to one of these stories a woman takes her own life and throws herself off the balcony to the rocks and sea below.

Leiji Matsumoto's Space Battleship Yamato, one of the most influential anime series ever, started 51 years ago today.

"In the year 2199, the space battleship Yamato embarks on a voyage to the planet Iscandar, to retrieve a device that will rejuvenate a war-ravaged Earth."

Even though my goal is 2D animation, I can't state enough how much Monty's 3D animations impacted me when I met his work 9 years ago, all I could think of was: "Can you really do that?!"

Completely insane stuff

Didn't escape me that it's already been 10 years since Monty Oum has left us.

I remember watching their work at the end of the 2000s while we were still in high school.

When they passed. . .even 10 years ago. . .I can still vividly remember them last mentioning maya.

This was still around the time I was learning how to rip 3D models from video games. . .

So when I saw Kairi here, I was hoping for more Kingdom hearts related videos. . .

"This Japanese artist’s interpretation of Santa Claus from 1914 gives further credence to the idea that Coca-Cola had little involvement with the visual development of Santa Claus."

I will say with certainty that the most terrifying prospect of moving again is how on earth I'm going to move my LaserDisc collection now versus when we moved here in 2022...
My LD collection as of June 2022
4 boxsets and 4 single-jacket volumes. (I'm pretty sure I also had the Endless Waltz Special Edition at this time, but maybe forgot it for this shot) My LD collection as of today.
163 releases, including 23 boxsets and 119 loose volumes.

同じくグワダン内のミネバ謁見の間。 中央のザビ家の紋章が不気味な陰謀を思わせる。

There. A publication giving a label to that symbol in that Gwadan chamber (also seen again in ZZ but not on the Gwadan)

The Zeta novel also described it this way? But also did so with the Zeon mark.

"And yet, nearly twenty years later, I met people who told me, “I fell in love with anime because of Zeta.” To me, they were fools. I had driven Kamille into breakdown as a warning, but some viewers read it as, “So this is what anime can do. This is the scope of the medium.”
