Imagine doing a PhD in electricity, just so you knew how to blow up nuclear power plants and heavy water-producing facilities.

Medieval anglo-saxons thought January 2nd an unlucky day to do any work. However, it is likely because they thought Jan 2nd was the unluckiest day of the year, full stop. If you were born on Jan 2n…

Every time things pop off the zone is flooded with first aid advice for pepper spray. It's basically a meme at this point. Fam, it sucks, but you will survive getting pepper sprayed. A single head injury from an object or a baton could kill you. Wear a helmet. This concludes our advice for the day

Time is of the essence and we need to fight the EHRC interim guidance before it becomes statutory and Parliament make it law.

Don’t just shout about it, write to them. Also tell the media, if you can get them to care. I’ve posted this on Instagram.

Here's my very enthusiastic review for Andor season 2! A thrilling conclusion to the greatest Star Wars spinoff, doubling down on the smart political writing and Cold War cynicism of the first season.

YES YES YES thank youuu this review is wonderful. I still feel like I'm losing my mind every time someone calls this movie sexual or even sexy... It's so bland, especially compared with its myriad predecessors!
I also touched upon this issue in my Reactor piece about the Ellen/Orlok relationship. I love gothic horror, but I spent a lot of Robert Eggers' Nosferatu thinking, "Okay... and...?" He's trying to reinvent the wheel!
